About this tool
What is the Timestamp Converter?
Convert between Unix epoch timestamps (seconds or milliseconds), ISO 8601, RFC 3339, and human-readable formats across any timezone. Auto-detects the input format. Bulk convert (paste a list, get a list back) and copy-ready output.
Developers use this for debugging log timestamps. Data analysts use it for normalizing dates from different sources. Runs in-browser using native Date APIs.

Questions about the Timestamp Converter
How does it auto-detect the format?
If the input is 10 digits → Unix seconds. 13 digits → Unix milliseconds. Contains 'T' or '-' → ISO 8601. Numeric string longer than 13 digits → likely microseconds (Postgres-style). The tool shows what it detected so you can override.
Does it handle timezones correctly?
Yes — pick any timezone for the output (browser's local zone is default). Daylight saving transitions are handled correctly via the browser's Intl API. ISO 8601 strings preserve their declared offset.
Free?
Yes — runs entirely in your browser, no signup.
