About this tool
What is the Password Generator?
Generate cryptographically-secure random passwords entirely in your browser. Set the length (8-128 chars), pick character sets (uppercase, lowercase, digits, symbols), exclude ambiguous chars (0/O, 1/l/I) if a human will type the password.
Uses the browser's `crypto.getRandomValues()` — the same secure randomness source your OS uses. Passwords never leave your device and aren't logged. Bulk-generate (up to 100 at once) for setting up many accounts.

Questions about the Password Generator
Are the passwords cryptographically secure?
Yes. The generator uses `crypto.getRandomValues()` — the browser's secure RNG, backed by the OS entropy source. Not Math.random() (which is predictable). Same quality as a password manager's built-in generator.
Are passwords logged or sent anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. We never see the passwords, there's no analytics on what you generated, and no copy-to-clipboard tracking.
Can I exclude characters that look alike?
Yes — toggle 'Exclude ambiguous characters' to drop 0/O, 1/l/I, 5/S, and other common misreads. Useful when the password will be typed manually from a printout.
