About this tool
What is the Markdown → HTML?
Paste Markdown — GitHub Flavored, CommonMark, or standard — and get back clean, semantic HTML you can paste anywhere. Tables, fenced code blocks with syntax highlighting, task lists, autolinks, footnotes — all supported.
The converter runs in your browser using the marked.js parser. No upload, no signup, no AI involvement. Useful for blog post drafting, README previews, and converting AI chat outputs (which are usually Markdown) into HTML for a CMS.

Questions about the Markdown → HTML
Which Markdown flavor is supported?
GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) by default — tables, task lists, fenced code blocks, autolinks. Toggle to strict CommonMark mode if you need maximum portability.
Does code in fenced blocks get syntax highlighting?
Yes — the HTML output includes Prism-compatible class names so any consuming page can apply syntax colors via a Prism stylesheet. Plain HTML works without it (block stays monospace).
Free?
Yes — no signup, no character limit, runs in-browser.
