What is the Invoice Generator?
The ReelStack Invoice Generator builds clean, professional PDF invoices entirely in your browser. Add your FROM details once (business name, address, tax ID, bank/Wise/PayPal info) and they auto-fill on every future invoice — no account required, settings live in your browser's local storage.
Built specifically for freelance filmmakers, editors, AI creators, and other creator-economy workers who bill brands and studios. Supports line items with quantity × rate math, percentage or fixed discount, configurable tax (VAT/GST/state sales tax), payment terms (Net 7/14/30 or custom), multiple currencies, and notes. Output is a single-page or multi-page PDF that print-styled to look like a real designer-made invoice — not a Word doc.
Free, no watermark, no usage cap, no signup. The PDF is generated client-side via the browser's print API, which means the data on your invoice never touches our servers.

Questions about the Invoice Generator
Is the Invoice Generator really free with no watermark?
Yes. Free forever, no signup, no watermark, no premium tier. The whole tool runs in your browser using its built-in print engine — there's no server cost on our side, so there's no paywall on yours.
Where are my saved defaults stored?
In your browser's local storage on the device you used. Nothing is sent to ReelStack — we don't have your business name, bank details, or client info. If you switch browsers or wipe storage, you'll need to re-enter your defaults. Sign in to a ReelStack account if you want your defaults to sync across devices.
Does it handle tax (VAT, GST, sales tax)?
Yes. Per-line or per-invoice tax with configurable rate and label (VAT 20%, GST 10%, etc.). You can also apply a percentage or fixed-amount discount before or after tax. The math is live-recalculated as you edit.
Can I add my own logo and brand colors?
Yes. Upload a PNG/SVG logo and pick an accent color — both render in the PDF. Logo lives in browser storage, never on our servers. Future update: customizable invoice templates (current default is the 'editorial' template designed by ReelStack).
What about multiple currencies / international clients?
Pick any of 30+ supported currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, CAD, PHP, INR, etc.). The amount formatting follows that currency's conventions. Bank section supports Wise (multi-currency) and PayPal alongside traditional bank details.
