Krea 3 Joins ComfyUI via Official Partner Nodes
ComfyUI now supports Krea 3 directly through its Partner Node program, enabling multi-reference conditioning and localized edits inside modular graphs. The integration helps concept artists, storyboarders, and VFX leads combine Krea's consistency tools with custom pipeline automation.
ComfyUI, the open-source node-based generative AI workflow platform, added official support for Krea 3 through its Partner Nodes program. The integration connects Krea's reference-guided image generation model directly into ComfyUI graphs, giving creators multi-reference conditioning and precise prompt editing without leaving their local or cloud node canvas.
What's new
The Krea 3 Partner Node brings the model's cloud-backed toolset into standard ComfyUI workflows:
- Multi-reference inputs: Artists can feed multiple source images into a single Krea 3 node to steer character identity, color palettes, lighting, and composition simultaneously.
- Targeted element control: The model accepts instruction-driven edits that isolate and modify specific attributes while maintaining surrounding scene details across iterations.
- Cloud-hosted inference: Generations run through Krea's infrastructure, offloading compute from local GPUs and avoiding the high VRAM overhead associated with running massive 20B+ parameter models on local hardware.
- Standard node I/O: Outputs from Krea 3 pass standard latent and image tensors, allowing artists to feed generated results directly into downstream upscalers, segmentation masks, or video pipelines.
How it fits your workflow
For concept artists, art directors, and storyboarders, maintaining character and style consistency across dozens of shots has always been the primary challenge in generative production. In a standard local ComfyUI graph, achieving this level of visual continuity requires assembling complex node nests with IP-Adapter, ControlNet, and custom LoRA loaders running on base models like Flux.1 Dev or SDXL. Krea 3 collapses that multi-step setup into a single node interface that handles multiple visual references natively.
Bringing Krea 3 into ComfyUI also solves the workflow friction of the standalone Krea web app. In the browser, generating a set of variations means manually exporting stills, renaming files, and dragging them into editing tools or upscalers. Inside ComfyUI, a Krea 3 generation can immediately feed into an Ultimate SD Upscaler node, an automated background removal pass, or an image-to-video workflow driven by models like Wan 2.1 or Kling 1.5. Studios building production-line pipelines can use Krea 3 for the core rendering pass while using ComfyUI's logic nodes to automate batch processing, seed sweeping, and file management.
What it costs / how to try it
The Krea 3 Partner Node is available inside ComfyUI via the ComfyUI Manager under the Partner Nodes registry. Because inference runs in the cloud, using the node requires an active Krea account and API credentials, with generations billed against Krea's usage-based API pricing.
